Community Project Coordinator Job Pack
We're looking for a confident, engaging and community focused person to join our Community Engagement Team and help deliver our National Lottery funded Connecting Communities project.
Job title: Community Project Coordinator
Hours: 14 hours / 2 days per week
Contract: 6 months fixed-term
Starting salary: £25,850 Pro-rata (FTE), £10,340 actual

This is a hands-on delivery role, working directly with South Asian and other racialised communities across Lancashire to improve mental health and wellbeing and reduce barriers to accessing support.
You'll be delivering a mixture of community workshops, wellbeing sessions, awareness training and 1:1 support, working in community settings and building trusted relationships with the people and organisations we work alongside.
We're particularly interested in hearing from people who:
Have experience of engaging and building relationships with South Asian communities
Are confident delivering workshops, groups or community activities
Have experience of supporting people with their mental health and wellbeing
Can build trust quickly and adapt their approach to different communities and audiences
Are comfortable working independently in community settings
Can hit the ground running in a short-term delivery role
The ability to speak a South Asian community language, such as Urdu, is highly desirable.
You'll be joining a supportive team, with the planning and coordination of sessions supported by colleagues so you can focus primarily on high quality community delivery and engagement.
Based from our Leyland office, with home working and delivery across Lancashire.
